Deion Sanders ripped for knowing little about college football

FanSided's Alicia de Artola is not impressed with Deion Sanders' college football knowledge. de Artola ripped Coach Prime for implying that fans flooded Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska for a 28-10 Huskers win over Colorado just to see the "Prime Effect."

She also ripped the Buffs' offensive line for once again looking like a roadblock to any meaningful success and claimed Sanders should be focused on improving that instead of making assumptions based on a lack of context.

"Sorry to break it to Sanders but Nebraska's crowd is there rain or shine, rival or unfamiliar foe," de Artola wrote. "They've sold out Memorial Stadium every year since 1962. That's 398 games in a row. Hell, the stadium was full during the darkest days of the Scott Frost era and there was no Coach Prime at any of those games.

"It's pretty clear Sanders doesn't know much about the college football landscape beyond what directly affects him. It doesn't look like he cares to learn either. He's too focused on himself, his sons and his Louis. He should probably be more focused on how to get his offensive line to block but that's just my opinion."

Deion Sanders sounds like a sore loser after embarrassing Nebraska loss

Coach Prime took the wrong route after his Buffs looked so overmatched against Nebraska in Week 2. Instead of gracefully conceding that Colorado was overmatched and the Big Red fan support showed out, he's sounding bitter by claiming credit for anything positive that happened.

Because none of that positivity had to do with CU. It was as poor of a showing as they come for the Buffs on September 7.

Sanders avoided getting into it with CSU players who called his Buffs out during game week, though. The buildup to the 2024 Rocky Mountain Showdown was nothing like the back-and-forth in 2023 where Jay Norvell called into question how Sanders was raised.
