It's no joke that Deion Sanders has a high status in the college football world. He is viewed to be an interesting, controversial but great human being. That's subjective, so take that as you may.

Regardless, no matter what everyone thinks about Sanders he will always think greater — as it should be. His pride is unmatched and should be an inspiration to us all to have the kind of confidence he has to strive in life.

"I'm judged on a different scale. My wins are totally different than your wins," he said, via 9News. "You’re just judging football."

Not only that but Coach Prime distinguishes that his wins differ from others saying, "We have to win in every area."

"My wins are different," he prefaced before saying, "We have to win in every area. That's the way we're judged. I'm cool with that because we come a little bit different. So, the expectation is greater. But it's not just football, it's been like that all my life. ... The expectation you have for me would never outweigh the expectation I have for myself."

There's something about Colorado's aura that screams swagger — it's probably because of this guy. Or maybe it could be because of his son, Shedeur Sanders, who flashes his wristwatch unapologetically. Travis Hunter is a possibility, too — who knows really?

Ultimately, the confidence is there and nobody can lower Sanders' standards.

Deion Sanders confidence will bleed into his Colorado football locker room

The season will be here faster than anyone expects and this kind of confidence will pour into Sanders' locker room which will be key if they want to become a better team. There's more to the game than just physicality — the mental aspect is just as important.

Luckily, Sanders will be able to show them the way and hopes of having his players express that same "I don't care what anyone thinks" kind of attitude that'll put them over the top.

Something is brewing in Colorado and it's looking good.
