First-year 5-star OT Jordan Seaton and former Colorado football OT Savion Washington were rumored to have fought as part of an initiation ritual according to a bombshell report from AthlonSports' Steve Corder.

According to Corder, the fight was so brutal that the two were left bloody afterward. Theirs was just one of many reported fights in the Buffs locker room according to former players close to the situation.

"Jordan Seaton, another five-star recruit, was allegedly bullied into 'proving his manhood' and picked to fight former CU lineman Savion Washington," Corder prefaced before saying, "In April, the two were said to have exchanged blows, leaving both bloody. Witnesses described it as 'two bears scrapping for food.'"

Jordan Seaton accused of wanting to be a rapper due to Colorado football interest

The coaches who told Seaton that his interest in Colorado would lead to trouble off the field -- as opposed to success on it -- were likely vindicated a bit by the report from Corder.

As Seaton revealed, coaches cynically questioned him during his recruitment process about wanting to become a "rapper" at CU.

"This was the most famous one I got," Seaton said (h/t On SI). "It was like "What do you want to be a rapper or something?" I'm like...Hey... *Laughing*… I get what you're saying, but... bro... There was a lot of negative recruiting (at Coach Prime). I feel like some people don't understand that he's only had... He's only been there for what... Has it been a year yet? It's been a year. The turnaround that program has from 1-11 to 4-8... to see that is cool."

Seaton may have found fights had he chose to commit elsewhere, but these reports suggest his scrap was a symptom of something much larger in Boulder.

As of now, though, it's just one report. We'll see if anyone else wants to put their name to this story given the potential legal ramifications.
