Shedeur Sanders only had three interceptions during the entire 2023 season, but the "Grown QB" is already a third of the way to that total following a freak interception in the third quarter against North Dakota State with the Buffs down 20-17.

On a 3rd and 5 goal-line set from the gun, Shedeur threw what was supposed to be a slant to LaJohntay Wester but Bison corner Anthony Chideme-Alfaro fell down where the throw was supposed to go. The ball bounced off of Chideme-Alfaro's calf and went straight up in the air, and NDSU linebacker Nick Kubitz picked it up in the end zone; going down for a touchback.

A strange play during a back-and-forth affair that could've shifted the momentum had North Dakota State taken advantage. They didn't score on their next possession and Shedeur took the lead back with his third touchdown throw and second to Travis Hunter.

Some might say hilarious based on who they're cheering for, but everyone would say it was a freak play that will unfortunately go against Shedeur's 2024 stat line.

Shedeur Sanders' halftime interview throws off Twitter

Shedeur getting the halftime interview slot instead of Deion Sanders was something many on Twitter took note of.

That was also a strange happening.

Luckily, something else was noticed about Shedeur at halftime: his greatness. Nebraska-based reporter Jon Tritsch relayed that an NFL scout noticed how tough he is taking shots in and out of the pocket.

“He’s tough as s***," the scout prefaced before saying, "He gets blasted and it doesn’t matter.”

Shedeur, despite the freak interception, looked NFL-ready against North Dakota State.
