Shilo and Shedeur Sanders were called out by Essentially Sports' Soheli Tarafdar for not being present at Deiondra Sanders and rapper Jacques' first child's gender reveal, though Deion Sanders Jr. was credited for being there for Deion Sanders' oldest child.

"Apart from Deion Sanders himself, neither Shedeur nor Shilo could be spotted who was otherwise seen reacting to Travis Hunter’s birthday post," Tarafdar prefaced before saying, "However, not to worry, Deion Sanders Jr. stepped up to fulfill the uncle’s duties as he emotionally consoled his sister, giving her a big hug, while also capturing the best moments from the evening with his weapon, a camera.

"Deiondra’s pregnancy journey, as much as it is important for her, the other members of the Sanders family are equally worried. While Coach Prime could not be physically present on daughter’s big day, he has been with her in spirit, showcasing her love and support on online platforms. However, Shedeur Sanders and brother Shilo have not been spotted anywhere in this journey expressing their feelings and views."

Deiondra doesn't share a mom with Shilo and Shedeur but does with Deion Jr. Carolyn Chambers is Deiondra and Deion Jr.'s mom, while Pilar Sanders is Shilo, Shedeur, and Shelomi's mother. That might explain the Colorado QB and DB's absence, though it's just a gender reveal anyway.

The actual birth of Coach Prime's first grandchild is something worth monitoring who is there or not. And even then it's nobody's business but the Sanders family's.

Deion Sanders not sure how to feel about being a first-time grandfather

Coach Prime is proud of his daughter and plans on being an involved grandfather and supportive father. With that said, he admitted he doesn't know how to feel about being a grandfather at the age of 56; though possibly 57 depending on his grandson's birthdate.

"I haven't digested that whole thing yet," Sanders said to PEOPLE Magazine. "I'm proud of my baby that she's at least waited until her thirties to give me this gift of life. I'm happy about that, but I want to make sure she's straight emotionally and psychologically as well."

Welcoming a new family member, especially one who is the first of a generation, is always an exciting but stressful time. The Sanders family has that with the backdrop of the 2024 season starting just weeks after that.
