One of the nation's top quarterbacks heading into the 2024 season has been deemed the best in the country. Coach Prime's son, Colorado football star Shedeur Sanders, is being called by Undisputed's Skip Bayless the best in the country — giving the "Grown QB" his flowers and then some.

“Shedeur is not just the best quarterback in that conference, he's the best quarterback in this country," Bayless said (h/t Marca.com). "And he is going to be the first pick in the draft and I think he's going to be really, really good in pro football. He is as seasoned and experienced a college quarterback as you're going to get.”

The best in the country is a big compliment when other stars such as Georgia's Carson Beck, Oregon's Dillon Gabriel and Texas' Quinn Ewers are in the conversation, too. Sanders' shouldn't take this statement lightly but rather use this as positive fuel to prove Bayless right.

Fortunately, he has all the tools to do so such as the entire football roster, medical staff, assistant coaches, trainers, two-way threat Travis Hunter and his dad. That's all you need to succeed in college football and perhaps — a little luck.

How will Deion Sanders help Shedeur Sanders become the best in college football?

Coach Prime is fearless — he doesn't even have all ten of his toes. He's not afraid to do anything and even showed his foot on national TV. But how does this mentality help his son?

The drive, will, and hunger that (Deion) Sanders has will be instilled into his quarterback daily — it's a father and son relationship after all. It's bigger than football. No matter how hard things may become or any minor setback he'll be there to help.

This is one luxury that gives them an edge, outweighing any team they will face this coming fall.

For Sanders' sake, hopefully he can prove Bayless right in the end.
