Stephen A. Smith spoke with Paul Finebaum on ESPN's First Take and several shocking developments were revealed by the national pundits: Finebaum now thinks highly of Deion Sanders and Stephen A. told Coach Prime that Colorado football isn't the best fit for the former Jackson State head coach.

"Deion in Tinseltown, yes, that works, because I don't like him in Boulder," Smith alleges he told Sanders (h/t Marca). "I've told him that."

Finebaum called Sanders and USC a potential fit if the Trojans moved on from Lincoln Riley.

"I think he's lost the momentum he had in that town," Finebaum said Monday with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN's First Take (h/t BuffStampede). "You have to win in LA or otherwise, you lose badly. Instead of harping on Lincoln Riley, I've decided to come up with a solution. Maybe he does well, maybe he doesn't, but the answer is, really moving forward and I believe the answer after this season is, Deion Sanders. He's going to be tired of Colorado because quite frankly it's not Prime Time. He's done as well as he can with Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, but you put Prime in tinseltown and you have one of the greatest combinations in history."

Deion Sanders leaving Colorado football will be the story until he does

Buffs fans should've expected rumors pertaining to Coach Prime leaving to be rampant, but they're even more prevalent than one could've imagined. Many talking heads legitimately don't like that Sanders is at CU and want to see him leave.

When it comes to someone like Smith, it's unclear why. Maybe he just wants more excuses to go to Los Angeles and isn't a fan of the mountains. It's proven college football isn't his forte like the NBA is, so why he'd have a strong opinion on where Sanders is doesn't have too many alternative explanations.

Coach Prime said he'd be staying in Boulder for five to 10 years. It's unclear if he's as sick of hearing rumors like this one as Buffs fans are.
