Travis Hunter showed he was superhuman during CSU win
A two-way star or a super NFL player in the making? Well, Travis Hunter's both. With more than 100 receiving yards, two receiving TDs, paired with five tackles, one pass breakup, and a blockbuster interception that he returned for 38 yards, Hunter entirely stole the show during Colorado's 28-9 win over CSU.
It was the finesse with which Hunter carried the game, even the plays where he didn't score, that made him the superstar.
On a 4th and 1, Avery Morrow took a wildcat direct snap, busted through the line, and went till 64 yards, just when Travis Hunter, who had been hot on his trail, took him down.
As Silver Buffs rightly puts it, "It's not a INT or TD, but this was the most impressive play from Travis. He could've let up but he chased this down with all his heart."
To perfectly top it all off, Hunter also earned the honors of being the defensive player of the week, which was probably thanks to this play.
Colorado's win against CSU was the Travis Hunter show
Everyone who witnessed the finesse with which Hunter put on the show on Saturday was completely floored, to say the least. The two-way star nailed everything from speed to slipperiness, completing a staggering 123 of 138 snaps.
Top analysts like Skip Bayless were forced to tout Hunter the best two-way player in the CFB. Deion Sanders and some of his fellow NFL legends believed in the same as well.
However, Hunter will need to carry more games like this to secure that No.1 spot in the NFL draft 2025, and to make Colorado win.
It's Travis Hunter's world, we're just living in it!
