Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro DE Maxx Crosby made it clear that he wants either Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward as his QB1 next season -- joking that he wouldn't bully them after hosting them both on his podcast, The Rush.

"He [Cam Ward] might go No. 1. It is between him and Shedeur [Sanders]," Crosby said (h/t On SI). "100 percent, those two are the coldest ones. They train together. ... I like what Colorado is doing. They are cooking. And Miami is cooking. We need to have them after the season, get on our show, and bid on why they should be the first quarterback taken. I want that to happen on 'The Rush.' We will make that happen. ... I feel like it will be golden.

" ... Hopefully, one of them, I don't know, maybe one of them is going to be my quarterback. I cannot fully bully them. But at practice, you know what time it is. If you come to the Raiders, you will be hit as a quarterback in practice. So, your red jersey is all good. It is all love, but I will not hurt you. I will just let you feel it."

Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward elevated each other's stock by practicing together

Sanders and Ward did each other a major solid by teaming up over the offseason to train. For Shedeur, he got to see how an elite dual-threat QB runs through his reads and moves the chains even if no one is open. For Ward, he was linked to the biggest star in the sport at his position and gets to serve as the alternative to the "Prime Time" show Shedeur will bring his next team.

Kyron Drones, the third wheel of those sessions, is still getting warmed up. He had a star-making Week 1 performance against Vanderbilt but has failed to launch in every game but the Stanford matchup.

Shedeur and Ward are firmly entrenched as stars of the sport, future NFLers, and top draft picks. Who gets picked first is anyone's guess, but Las Vegas is firmly in play for both of them if Crosby is to be believed.
