Shedeur Sanders dropping all the way down to round 2 is an absolute joke

Let’s just call it what it is — a slap in the face.

Shedeur Sanders, the most accurate quarterback in college football history, is still waiting for his name to be called and will have to wait until Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

We’re talking about the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner. A guy who threw for over 4,100 yards, 37 touchdowns, and completed 74% of his passes in 2024. He took a team that won just four games in 2023 and led them to a 9-4 season in the Big 12.

Now the Giants pass on him. The Steelers pass. The Giants pass on him again. Talk about an absolute joke.

The New York Giants had an opportunity to walk away from draft night selecting Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter AND Shedeur Sanders. Instead, they did what only bad organizations can do.

The kid said it himself: “I’m built for whatever today may bring.” Shedeur’s still standing, still composed, still that dude.

These front offices are going to regret this — badly.

But someone is going to get one of the biggest Day 2 draft steals in the history of the draft.
