Shedeur Sanders pitched to stay at Colorado football to earn 'almost as much' as NFL

Mike Farrell Sports' Sean Labar pondered the possibility of Coach Prime's Colorado football program luring Shedeur Sanders back to Boulder with NIL money comparable to a potential NFL payout.

Ultimately, Labar sees Shedeur and Colorado both getting a good end of the deal if he were to consider a fifth collegiate season.

"Shedeur Sanders has an opportunity to pull off an unprecedented feat with his dad, but instead, is choosing to go to the NFL where his fate will be determined by where he lands," Labar wrote. "A final year in college would allow him to fine-tune his skillset, earn almost as much as he would as a first-round rookie, and give the Colorado Buffaloes a legitimate shot to win a national title."

Shedeur coming back is too good to be true. It's also off the table. The "Grown QB" has already said he's not registering for classes and is heading to the league.

But if he did come back, the Bucks could have a perfect situation in their QB room.

Shedeur Sanders, Julian Lewis sharing a QB room would be ideal for Colorado football

Julian Lewis cancelled a visit to Indiana. USC is losing and fearing an exodus from their recruiting class with Lincoln Riley's Trojans in free-fall. Things are looking good in Coach Prime's pursuit of Shedeur's replacement.

Landing Lewis and sticking him behind Shedeur, learning Pat Shurmur's offense at a deliberate pace, would be ideal for the Carrolton QB's development.

The Buffs would also be in a better position to win the Big 12 with a fifth-year superstar who will have passed up on the NFL two years in a row.
