Week 18 of the NFL resulted in one final shake-up at the top of the 2025 draft, leading to the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns, two teams falsely tabbed as non-starters for Shedeur Sanders.

Interestingly enough, USA Today's Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz penned a mock draft that plays out like that demand is true, with Shedeur going to the NY Giants at No. 3.

"Their Week 17 explosion cost them the No. 1 pick, but Big Blue still ends up in position to select a quarterback suited to take the team into a new era. When it comes to managing pressure, the question is not so much about whether Sanders can handle the New York media spotlight as it is if he can exhibit a quicker trigger as a passer. But an experienced and accurate signal-caller capable of taking rookie sensation Malik Nabers to the next level should be an exciting notion for the Giants," Middlehurst-Schwartz wrote.

In Middlehorst-Schwartz's write-up on the Browns' pick at No. 2 (Travis Hunter), he describes Cleveland's need for a QB and writes as though their roster isn't good enough for Shedeur.

"This could end up as the defining pick of the draft, as Cleveland will have to consider how eager it is to make a splashy move at quarterback with the Deshaun Watson uncertainty hanging over the franchise for at least another year. But this roster isn't particularly well-equipped to serve a rookie signal-caller, and it would be hard to go wrong with the Heisman Trophy winner, who's considered by many to be the premier talent of this class," Middlehorst-Schwartz wrote.

It's probably not. Now whether or not Coach Prime will have a hand in Shedeur not going to the Browns is unclear, but if there would ever be a franchise to steer your son clear of, it's Cleveland.
