Colorado Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders recently made an unexpected appearance at the Zybek Sports Youth Combine, bringing enthusiasm and mentorship to young athletes. Founded in Boulder in 2008, Zybek Sports specializes in performance analysis tools for athletes. During the event, Sanders not only provided coaching but also boosted the participants' motivation by handing out rewards for standout performances.

Reflecting on his approach, Sanders shared, "We wanted to do something to where it's like, we pick out a kid, he calls another kid out, and we get their times, so whoever wins that gets 100 dollars."

Beyond the financial incentives, Sanders offered valuable advice on the recruitment process, emphasizing the importance of self-promotion and attending camps. He recounted his own journey, noting, "I used to do good at the camps and then Shedeur actually used to film my videos for me."

During the 2024 season, Sanders demonstrated his defensive prowess with 67 total tackles, including 45 solo efforts, two tackles for loss, one sack, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble.

As he prepares for the 2025 NFL Draft, Sanders remains focused on his goals, stating, "I just care about what the scouts think. I care about what Coach Prime thinks, what my family thinks, and I got a good circle around me, so I really don't let that stuff affect me."

Sanders' dedication to giving back to the community and guiding aspiring athletes shows his commitment to the sport and its future stars.
