The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off one of the few trades of the 2025 NFL Draft — moving up from No. 5 to No. 2 to grab our guy, Travis Hunter.

Let me just say it plainly: Jacksonville absolutely won this trade.

Hunter heads to Duuuval, joining Trevor Lawrence, Brian Thomas Jr., and first-year head coach Liam Coen. I think that’s scary in the best way. They instantly become a playoff contender and one of the few teams Travis could've landed on with an established quarterback.

The deal cost the Jags a second-rounder, a fourth-rounder, and their 2026 first, but when you have the opportunity to grab a player who could start at corner or wide receiver at an All-Pro level, you do it without thinking twice.

Meanwhile, Cleveland slid back to No. 5 and took Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham. Look, Graham’s a stud — but let's be real: pairing Travis Hunter with Trevor Lawrence is the kind of move that changes a franchise forever.

Another win for Jacksonville is that Travis will bring more attendance and jersey sales immediately— something the Jaguars typically have struggled with in past seasons.

Travis becomes the highest-drafted cornerback ever and the highest CU player ever, matching RB Bo Matthews in 1974, who went to the San Diego Chargers.

It’s also Coach Prime’s first first-rounder at CU — and you just know it won’t be his last.

Congrats, Travis. You have made Buffs Nation proud and added some more Jaguar fans in the Rocky Mountains.
