While Travis Hunter awaits the results of the Heisman race with bated breath, the WR unlocked another odd in his favor: the No. 1 prospect of the 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
According to ESPN's Mel Keiper, Hunter was ranked at No.1 overall and is impressive enough to convince the NFL teams to play both ways.
"Hunter has a great feel for the game on offense and defense, and he has played a whopping 1,356 snaps over 12 games this season," Keiper writes.
The ESPN analyst strongly believes that the two-way star has it in him to make an impact playing both ways of the ball in the pros.
"The offensive and defensive coordinators for the team that ultimately drafts him are going to be battling each other to use him," the ESPN analyst said.
"Hunter has tremendous hand-eye coordination and elite ball skills. His physical traits and quickness are off the charts, but he also thinks about the game at a high level. He is a highly competitive prospect who works hard to maximize his potential."
The Colorado QB was tagging closely behind Hunter at No. 3 overall, a spot up from his ranking in Keiper's previous version of the 2025 NFL mock draft. The analyst had nothing but praise for Sanders.
"You won't find a tougher or more resilient quarterback prospect than Sanders, who has taken 90 sacks over the past two seasons but still puts up really strong numbers," Keiper wrote.
The analyst is thoroughly impressed with Sanders' accuracy and his drive. He can "easily pick apart a defense."
Top player off the board or not, all 32 NFL teams know the type of athlete they'll get with Sanders on board.
