Let’s goooo! Travis Hunter is officially off the board — and just changed the Jacksonville Jaguars' future.
And thank goodness they saved him from having to go to Cleveland.
The former Colorado Buffalo is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. A two-way machine. A highlight factory. A competitor who never comes off the field. And now, he’s doing it on Sundays.
The Jacksonville Jaguars just pulled off the steal of the draft. The Jaguars gave up their 2026 first-rounder, to trade up for Hunter, and honestly? It’s a smart bet.
For those of us who watched every snap, every pick, every back-bending touchdown grab at Folsom, this one hits different for all of us Colorado fans.
We saw it before the rest of the world did, and now, the league's about to see what Coach Prime and Buffs fans already knew: Travis Hunter isn’t just good. He’s generational.
As a multi-tooled player, Travis Hunter will be a nightmare for AFC South rivals
Hunter isn’t just a corner. Or a receiver. He’s a gameplan. A guy defenses are going to lose sleep over — and quarterbacks who will avoid like a bad matchup on Madden.
Now, fans better get ready. He’s bringing that same energy to the NFL. The Colts, Texans and Titans will need to gameplan for Hunter on both sides of the ball, and possibly special teams as well. This will be a nightmare scenario for offensive and defensive coordinators on the other side.
Buffs legacy is locked in with Hunter
Travis Hunter gave everything to this program. He flipped the narrative. He made Boulder the center of college football for two years straight. And now he carries that flame into the pros.
Wherever he goes, Colorado goes with him.
Congrats, 12. You made us believe again.
