It had already felt like a week of redemption in Boulder. The Colorado Buffaoes had just landed FCS All-American Ramon Jefferson from Sam Houston State. A miraculous pickup after losing Jarek Broussard earlier on to the transfer portal. Now the Buffs have a few more weapons to add into the mix.

Junior College safety out of Mississippi Community College Jeremy Mack will come to Boulder. Colorado was the first Power 5 to make him an offer and he took it. He’s coming a long way from home but has a great chance to play for Colorado, and is excited to be a part of the Pac-12 and showcase what he can do on the field.

One of the best high school players from Florida Anthony Hankerson has committed to Colorado. Out of St. Thomas Aquino’s, in Boynton Beach, Florida. He was the Sun Sentienl Broward County 8A-6A offensive player of the year. He helped his team win the state title in 2020. Hankerson will most likely grayshirt but we look forward to having an athlete of his caliber on the field as soon as possible.

The offensive line for Colorado has received more help. Alex Harkey announced he would be taking his talents to Colorado. A 6 foot 6 300 pound offensive tackle from Buda, Texas now find a home in Boulder.

The Buffs got another quarterback to add to the mix. Out of California, Ryan Staub who was never shy about his interest in going to Colorado. The West Ranch quarterback was one of the states best passers. A three star quarterback who threw for 21 touchdowns and 2, 414 yards, also running for 324 with 6 touchdowns rushed in.

At the start of the new year things were looking a little bleak for Colorado. So many players were entering the transfer portal and often. It seemed at times we couldn’t go a few days without a break. Now things are finally starting to come together for Karl Dorrell and his staff. Which is why you must always trust the system. They have put together a tough and productive herd that will be looking to turn a few heads in 2023.
