Colorado’s Nate Landman stands at 6’2.5” and 238 pounds. This 4 year starter for the Buffs comes out of Harare, Zimbabwe. Due to athleticism being in the blood, his father was a professional Rugby player. Later in life Nate played for Monte Vista High School in California, he started his collegiate career with Colorado in 2017. An FWAA second-team All-American. Landman is also two-time All Pac-12 team first to honoree. The only player in the Buffs history to be have conference honors four consecutive years and a row, and the only Buff to have an invitation to the NFL Combine in 2022.

The NFL Combine is something all professional football fans look forward to every year. Showcasing the best and brightest that college football has to offer. Players invited have the opportunity to showcase their speed in the 40-yard dash. To exhibit their athleticism in jumping both the vertical and broad jump. Perform the three-cone drills and shuttle run. Highlight their extreme strength in the bench press. Last but not least there are position skill drills for all positions.

Colorado Buffaloes inside linebacker Nate Landman finally took his turn at the NFL Combine. In his first attempt he ran the 40-yard dash with an unofficial time of 4.85 seconds. His 20-yard split was 2.82 and his 10-yard split was 1.69 seconds. In the broad jump he came in soaring for 9’11”. On his vertical he jumped for 36.5 inches.

Nate had a good composite size grade and good explosion explosion grade. He scored a 5.3 on the RAS scale out of a possible 10.0, and height comes in at a 7.49 and weight at a 5.65. Landman did not go for a second attempt at the 40-yard dash, opting out of some categories that he will display on his Pro Day like the bench press, but he did come in at 11th for all Pac-12 linebackers at the combine.

He was a player that was miraculous in the 2021 Shrine Bowl and the NFL seemed like the most obvious next step. Landman was invited to the 2022 Shrine Bowl as well. That came just after the tear of his Achilles’ tendon. It proves to scouts that he is tough and knows how to battle back no matter how intense an injury maybe be. He has always been a next level type player. No matter where he lands on the draft board, he is going to be a consistent force in the NFL for years to come.
