Coach Prime (you know, that guy Deion Sanders) is making his debut as Colorado’s head coach today, and the Buffaloes’ first drive of the game set social media on fire.
The Buffaloes knew they needed to get off to a fast start against a TCU team that pretty much nobody (well, except Pat McAfee) gave Colorado a chance to beat. The first drive would set the tone.
After forcing a 3 and out from the Frogs, Coach Prime made sure that drive was engineered and executed to near perfection, and the Buffs jumped out to a 7-0 lead on the Horned Frogs, marching down the field 73 yards for the game’s first score.
Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders looked like a seasoned veteran on the drive.

Following the score, social media reacted with swift applause and lots of attitude for Coach Prime and his team.
It took all of 5 minutes to realize Colorado is for real. People who doubt Prime are morons

COACH PRIME'S BUFFS TAKE THE OPENING KICKOFF ON FOX 73 YARDS IN 12 PLAYS TO TAKE A 7-0 LEAD AT TCU! THEY'RE A 20.5 POINT UNDERDOG! As I've always said, Deion Sanders is one man I never bet against.

Um. I could not have envisioned @CUBuffsFootball start to Coach Prime era like this: Force 3/out. then drive efficiently for a TD at TCU. Superb plan, Execution off the charts. I KNOW IT IS VERY EARLY! but wow, this is different.

Of course…not everyone believes

It’s early in the game, and anything can happen, but Colorado fans have to really be excited about what they’ve seen so far. For a team that was supposed to be run off the field by a “superior” TCU team, things are looking just fine.

Deion Sanders’ alma mater ‘clearly’ holds level of animosity for him
Deion Sanders' alma mater -- though not where he got his degree -- still holds a level of animosity towards the Colorado football head coach.
