Between last season's 4-8 campaign and this season's 8-2 start with two games yet to go, Colorado football was named the best team in the Big 12 by ESPN analyst Ryan McGee for one reason: They are "difference makers," as the SEC Network host puts it.

"I think the best team in the Big 12 is Colorado. It's because they have more difference-makers than everyone else," McGee said on the College GameDay podcast.

"If you have deep difference-makers you can you can elevate in a game. Now does that mean I think Colorado's a lock, you know to win in and win out? No, I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that right now, I think they're the best team in the Big 12."

The two remaining games of the Buffs will be the real defining, and the key deciding factor whether Colorado will become the "best team in Big 12" this year or not. Facing Kansas at Arrowhead Stadium this Saturday comes with a looming threat over the Buffs of breaking their four-win-streak and dropping their chances of going to the College Football Playoff this season.

Colorado increasingly favored to lure Julian Lewis

Carrollton 5-star QB prospect Julian Lewis made headlines on Monday by decommitting from USC. Lewis's move set the intense talks of Lewis flipping to Colorado after how relentlessly they have pursued him.

Can't blame Lewis for it, though. Anyone in his shoes would be curious to know what the Buffs fanbase would do when you actually sign up for their program after they named a whole damn burger after you in the process.
