It was revealed this week that while Deion Sanders is getting better, he is still dealing with something regarding his health. Coach Prime and his inner circle have been quiet about what exactly has ailed the Colorado coach, but it has prevented him from being in Boulder this summer. His absence has the Buffaloes behind on the recruiting trail.
According to his oldest son, Sanders will be back at Colorado this week after spending the summer on his ranch in Texas. Fall camp is scheduled to get started next week for the Buffaloes as they prepare for life after Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.
Sanders has not made many public appearances the last few months. He was at Big 12 Media Days a couple of weeks ago, but outside of that, he hasn't been seen by the public outside of videos posted by his son on YouTube.
That changed on Wednesday morning as Sanders was spotted at an NFL Training Camp, signaling further proof that Prime is on the upswing and preparing for his return to Boulder.
Deion Sanders spotted at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Camp
Sanders was spotted on Wednesday morning in Tampa, Florida, attending the first day of Training Camp for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His son, Shilo, was signed by the Bucs as an undrafted free agent back in May.
Shilo faces an uphill battle to make the Tampa Bay roster, but earned some positive reviews from rookie minicamp. His Dad showed up on Wednesday to offer his support and was seen chatting with Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles, undoubtedly lobbying for Shilo.

Coach Prime is decked out in Colorado gear and looks ready to coach up the Buccaneers himself. Sanders could be using the opportunity to get himself back in "coach shape", standing outside and bearing the Florida heat to prepare for practice next week at Colorado.
Sanders may still be a ways away from 100%, but he wouldn't have made the trip to Tampa to watch practice if he weren't up for it. It's good news for Colorado fans who might have been worried about whether or not Prime would return to the sidelines for this season. Despite him being adamant that he would coach the team, there have been plenty of rumors swirling about his health forcing a premature exit from Boulder.
Colorado opens fall camp on Monday, July 28th to begin preparation for its season opener against Georgia Tech on Friday, August 29th.
