ESPN ranked Brown as the No. 6 overall player in the spring portal and the No. 2 wide receiver.
As a member of the Class of 2020, Brown was a three-star recruit out of Charleston (SC) First Baptist Church School, according to the On3 Industry Ranking
Other schools that were vying for Brown after he entered the transfer portal were: including South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas A&M, Florida State, Cal and Michigan.
Colorado also added 6-foot-4, 330-pound All-AAC offensive lineman Xavier Hill this week.
Colorado lost a lot on offense this season including four NFL-bound receivers: Jimmy Horn Jr., LaJohntay Wester, Will Sheppard and Travis Hunter and potential first round pick QB Shedeur Sanders.
“Coach Prime is building something real in Boulder,” Brown told On3. “I want to be part of that.”
Brown has one year of eligibility remaining.
