IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL) four-star edge rusher Jake Kreul announced Friday that after plenty of offers over the past three seasons he is down to 12 schools.

Kreul listed the Colorado Buffaloes as a finalist alongside Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Miami (FL), Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M.

The 6-foot-3 220-pound edge rusher is the No. 51 overall prospect, No. 7 in the state of Florida and No. 6 EDGE in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings

Kreul is an ESPN Jr. 300 Riser at No. 19 overall for the 2026 recruiting cycle.

In his junior season with IMG Academy, Kreul had 39 total tackles with 11 tackles-for-loss and six sacks. Before transferring to IMG, Kreul spent two seasons with Bishop Moore in Orlando, Florida where he recorded 76 total tackles, 34 tackles-for-loss and 17 sacks and was named 3rd team all-state.

IMG Academy held their annual spring Pro Day on Thursday, and this is what he told USA Today Sports:

"I've been all over the place with my recruitment," he said. "A lot of schools coming in and out of the list, but the way I got there was these are the 12 schools I want to visit for unofficial visits before I take my (official visits.) And then from those 12 schools try to plan out (official visits) after those spring visits." said to the Herald Times.

Kreul is undersized a bit for the defensive line position but has room to grow and has shown massive production over the past three years at two different programs.

The Orlando native has visits set with Penn State for a second time, Florida State, Florida, Miami, Colorado, Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon
