After entering the transfer portal earlier this week, former Colorado Buffaloes running back Isaiah Augustave has landed with the Virginia Cavaliers On3's Hayes Fawcett reported Sunday.

Augustave was the main priority in the Buffs ground game in 2024. In a pass-heavy offense that featured future first round pick Shedeur Sanders and his wide receivers he quietly put together a solid year: 384 yards on 85 carries, four touchdowns, and added 11 catches for good measure.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Floridian began his college career with the Arkansas Razorbacks before transferring to Colorado in 2024. At Arkansas, he played in 11 games as a true freshman, finishing with 202 rushing yards and one touchdown on 35 carries.
Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders recently said he had already let Virginia have one of his players. 247Sports had reported Augustave was taking a trip to Virginia, and an unknown Colorado player yelled out Augustave's number (23) in the video.
"Virginia, you got to stop," Sanders said. "I let you have one. I ain't say nothing about it. C'mon now. Come on. We let you have one. I ain't say nothing about it."
Unfortunately, in this day and age of college football this is a common practice in today's college football world, with NIL deals and tons of money often luring talent away from their programs and into the transfer portal.
Coach Prime and Colorado will be looking to add two running backs from the transfer portal after Augustave's departure this spring.
Augustave heads to UVA with two years of eligibility remaining in his career.
