Every single week it feels like Colorado cannot get out of its own way. The Buffaloes broke out to a 14-0 start on the road against TCU in a game they really need to win, but they go to halftime tied at 14 thanks to a bevy of mistakes by QB Kaidon Salter.

Salter threw an interception on Colorado's first drive, but he and the Buffs offense shook it off with consecutive touchdown drives. Salter hit Omarion Miller for a touchdown pass and then ran one in himself to lead Colorado to a 14-0 lead.

But right after TCU answered with its first impressive drive of the game to cut the lead in half, Salter threw a bad interception that directly led to another TCU touchdown to drive the game.

Salter wasn't done making mistakes, however. After hitting a couple of big plays to get the Buffs in scoring position right before the half, Salter forced in a throw in a tight window, and the ball bounced off a WR/DB and was intercepted at the goal line, turning the Buffs away late in the first half.

The three turnovers by Salter have been a back-breaker for Colorado in a game they should have the lead in.

Deion Sanders should consider a halftime QB change to avoid another tough loss

Colorado fans have zero faith in Salter being able to lead this team to a second half victory. And this is a game that is ripe for the taking, and one Colorado really needs to win or they will see their bowl hopes become increasingly thin.

Colorado needs a spark, and whether that comes from freshman Julian Lewis or redshirt sophomore Ryan Staub, it's becoming clear that Salter's brutal plays are going to continue to outweight his brilliant ones.

Salter is a talented player, but he's clearly struggling to read defenses. He's made some mind-blowing decisions that continues to set-back a Colorado offense that consistently seems on the precipice of a breakout performance.

Colordao resoundingly won the line-of-scrimmage in the first 30-minutes against TCU, leading the rushing battle 88-37. But the game is tied thanks to Salter's three interceptions, and if Sanders doesn't make a change at QB in the third quarter, it looks like the Buffs are well on their way to a second straight loss and an 0-3 start in Big 12 play.
