LeBron James sends strong message on Deion Sanders, Colorado football after Buffs roll Utah in Week 12
LeBron James celebrated Deion Sanders' Colorado football programming rolling Utah in a 49-24 blowout in Week 12; tweeting out that the haters have been awfully quiet since Coach Prime's Buffs started winning.
"I don’t hear non of those Colorado Buffaloes/Deion Sanders HATERS being up front and loud! They’re in hiding now! Coach Prime said 'We Coming'. Well it’s 'We Here' now. Love what’s going on there in Boulder," James tweeted on November 16.
If anything, the narrative is eerily pro-Coach Prime, now. As CU was building its lead at Folsom Field on Saturday, Yahoo Sports' Ross Dellenger recognized how real the idea of the Buffs being in the Big 12 Championship Game is.
"Colorado, up 28-9 over Utah, is on the way to 8-2 and the path to the Big 12 championship game is very real. Buffs have Kansas and Oklahoma State left. They combine for six wins," Dellenger tweeted.
Deion Sanders warns Colorado football's future opponents in postgame presser
Coach Prime let it be known that his Buffs are not there yet, and are in fact still in the process of coming.
"We haven't played our best yet. That should be scary in itself," Sanders said postgame.
Sanders also clapped back at the coaches who recruited his program negatively in the offseason by saying his program is best if you wanted to rap instead of playing football.
"I'm pretty sure it's a party going on and somebody is rapping," Sanders said postgame.
Sanders has nearly the entire sports world on his side now. Not just the LeBrons, who were always on his side, but the talking heads that wouldn't give him credit for anything before this current winning streak.
