NFL Draft noise gets loud but Shedeur Sanders fires back with calm flex

Shedeur Sanders can see he is slipping in draft projections, but that doesn't mean he is going to freak out.

Shedeur Sanders has faced his fair share of backlash throughout his college career. From his time at Jackson State to his two years at Colorado, Sanders has proven he is an NFL-caliber quarterback, but some NFL teams may not be willing to take a chance on him in the first round.

Since the college football season has ended, Sanders has gone from a top-five pick to now potentially slipping out of the first round altogether, and those out in the world are making sure Sanders knows about it.

It was even confirmed today by NFL insider Adam Schefter that the New York Giants a team that seemed to be the favorite to select Sanders is officially not going to take the young quarterback at the No. 3 pick.

While the rest of the football world is reacting to Sanders dropping in mock drafts, Sanders fired back on social media to show that he is remaining cool, calm, and collected.

NFL teams might pass on Shedeur Sanders—but he’s not sweating it

Sanders has dropped out of the first round entirely in some mock drafts, including one from CBS Sports writer Pete Prisco. Prisco only has one quarterback being taken in his mock draft, which is Cam Ward going to the Tennessee Titans with the No. 1 overall pick.

While his draft stock has been slipping, Sanders doesn't want to let anyone see him sweat. He is on cloud nine right now with the NIL money he brought in, his jersey being retired at Colorado, and now readying for the NFL Draft.

There are a couple of teams that could desperately use quarterbacks, but it doesn't mean they will use first-round draft picks to fill the need if they feel they can wait. The Giants are one, but others include the Las Vegas Raiders, the New Orleans Saints, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Any one of these teams could take the chance on Sanders, but they also may feel that since he could slip to a later round, they can snag him there.

Either way, Sanders is never going to let people see him sweat, hence his choice in posting what he did. He will certainly be ready for anything, but actually sitting and waiting can sometimes be a whole other beast.
