Inside the NFL host Ryan Clark believes Deion Sanders has the Dallas Cowboys at the top of Colorado football quarterback Shedeur Sanders' short-list of NFL franchises he'd allow his son to play for in 2025.

In fact, Clark would "bet good money" on that.

"Deion Sanders has a short list of teams he’d allow his son to play for, and I’d bet good money that the Cowboys are at the top of that list," Clark tweeted on March 29 (h/t AthlonSports). "Dak could leave for big time money in next year’s free agency, and Shedeur Sanders could replace him in a return home to lead America’s team. His father built part of his legend wearing the star on his helmet. Why not run it back? The Jones, Sanders legacy continues! Think about it."

Dak Prescott seems like a goner in 2025 free agency, and as Cowboys Country's Tony Fisher explained, Dallas is tearing it down this offseason; explaining why there was never an offer tendered to star corner Stephon Gilmore.

"Gilmore who is a Super Bowl champ', in his first year with the 'Boys, got a now career-high two interceptions and 68 tackles," Fisher prefaced before saying, "Some would say he should be re-signed as one of the Cowboy's veteran play-makers.

"What Deion may not know? The Cowboys are seemingly in 'Blow It Up' mode. They are not trying very hard to sign anybody ... especially not guys in their 30's and especially not anybody who wants more than a cheap one-year deal."

Cowboys could get Colorado football QB Shedeur Sanders and S Shilo Sanders as package deal

Coach Prime has been brazen about his influence in the NFL still and he's been awfully judgemental about all things Jerry Jones' franchises has done this offseason. Perhaps he's already positioning his sons to team up on the Cowboys in 2025.

Shilo Sanders is likely to be a day two or day three NFL draft pick, so it's not out of the realm of possibility for Dallas to get their QB of the future with a top draft pick before building around him with his closest teammate throughout his life soon after.
