Deion Sanders lashed out during an August 9 Colorado football presser -- which happened to also be his 57th birthday -- at multiple media members, including The Denver Post's Sean Keeler and a local CBS Denver affiliate reporter, who Coach Prime assured wasn't making it personal but wouldn't take his question.

Keeler, who has constantly criticized Coach Prime since taking over in Boulder, was called out by Sanders face to face. Deion questioned how Keeler could even talk to him since it was clear that the Denver Post columnist didn't like him. Keeler was trying hard to schmooze the Buffs head coach leading into his question, but Sanders was having none of it. The question never got to be asked.

"You don't like us man," Sanders said to Keeler. "Why do you do this to yourself? It would be hard for me to engage with someone I don't like. What did I do? What happened to get you like this?"

Sanders told the CBS Denver affiliate reporter it was all love and respect, but he still wouldn't take his question. This was potentially in connection to Sanders being ranked as the No. 15 coach in the Big 12 back in July.

Sanders is not over the job at CU. He's just over the media coverage of it, particularly from the big Denver publications.

When it comes to his Buffs, Sanders was over the moon about nearly every aspect of his team with weeks to go until the season opener.

“I feel so much better about the team and also the staff," Sanders said (h/t DNVR Buffs' Jake Schwanitz). "The coordinators are phenomenal, we all have a really cohesive bond. I’m feeling really good, much better [than last year]. We’re feeling really good. I’ll have my sexy on by the time that the first game is held.”

Sanders didn't seem to have his sexy on as he ruthlessly tore into the local media. He lost his cool, but winning would likely get it back.
