CBS Colorado's Justin Adams lauded Deion Sanders for stepping up for the inner city community and delivering a Buffs practice at All City Stadium in Denver -- proving that the beef between CBS and Coach Prime is exaggerated.

"Colorado held a college practice in the inner city for the youth to see," Adams prefaced before saying, "Somethings in life are bigger than numbers, my friend. This was impactful for all kids in Denver Public Schools."

While it could have been easy to join in on the criticism of Colorado's crowd size, Adams took the high road in the wake of Sanders refusing a question from CBS Colorado's Eric Christensen, a proud CU grad, at an explosive August 9 press conference; where he went after The Denver Post's Sean Keeler too and condescended the AP's reporters for word choice.

Reason why Deion Sanders refused question to CBS reporter

Coach Prime reportedly had a project with CBS that he dedicated time to, only to have them fail to deliver on their end of the bargain according to On3's Phillip Dukes.

"There was a project between the two (Sanders and CBS) that one person did their part and was vulnerable enough to say, 'Hey, you know what? I'm going to share this with you,'" Dukes said (h/t Buffaloes Wire). "The other faction, said company, without notice, without saying anything, after all of this time and effort was put into something basically said, 'Nah, this ain't a good look for us right now.'

"If you want to know why Deion Sanders reacted the way he did, there was an abuse of trust between the two that I'm sure will be expounded upon later on. But as far as what I can say, it was way deeper than a ranking."

There figures to be more to this story soon. Or not, since CBS is seemingly offering an olive branch to Coach Prime.
