Coach Prime sent a strong message of love and support to former Jackson State and Colorado football long-snapper Jacob Politte after he hit the transfer portal on March 3.

"Love ya and gonna miss (you) my man! God bless (you) and the family," Coach Prime prefaced before saying, "I Believe in You!"

Of note, Deion Sanders tweeted that a minute after an unrelated message essentially asking for world peace.

"Can we please stop killing each other or tearing one another down please," Sanders asked. "Can we take that same passion & desire to kill & destroy folks & use it to Build, Support & Promote each other. Can we? What's stopping us besides Hate, Envy, Jealousy & Ignorance."

Politte appeared in 15 games and earned Fourth-Team All-SWAC honors in 2022 following a standout career at Lubbock-Cooper (Texas).

Politte has always made it work in his football career. Coach Prime has faith in the Lone Star State long-snapper because Politte always believed in himself enough to get on the field by any means necessary.

"(Lubbock-Cooper Laura Bush Middle School) were trying to find a deep snapper on the first day of seventh-grade practice," Politte said back in 2020 during his high school days before recalling, "They found a lineman, and I was like, I think I could do that pretty well.

"I was one of the smaller guys to do it, and I just learned how that day. And ever since it taught me a way to get on the football field."

"I really believe that you'll get your benefits from how hard you work and time you put in," Politte, who was a third-string wide receiver and continued to be the deep snapper as a sophomore, added. "I just kept my head down, just listened to my coaches and really focused on what they wanted me to do and fulfilled that."

Unlike Tar'varish Dawson's dismissal or Bishop Thomas's pink slip, it appears Politte's exit was decided on amicable terms.
