Colorado football star Travis Hunter is one of the cover stars for the Deluxe Edition of EA Sports College Football 25; something that was long-rumored but was confirmed on May 10 with the PlayStation Store sharing the artwork on their marketplace.

Hunter is one of six players whose names can be seen. Texas QB Quinn Ewers, Michigan RB Donovan Edwards, Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins, Alabama QB Jalen Milroe, and Georgia QB Carson Beck are the others.

Hunter is the only defender to be featured so prominently.

Saturday Blitz's Connor Muldowney predicted back in February that Hunter could be featured alongside a teammate -- most likely Buffs quarterback Shedeur Sanders -- on the regular edition of EA Sports College Football 25.

"Sanders is also one of the hottest names in the sport right now," Muldowney prefaced before saying, "It wouldn't be a complete shock if he made the cover, but he also has a teammate worthy of that same recognition: Travis Hunter. Maybe we'll see the first-ever dual-athlete cover with teammates on it."

Barstool Sports' Big Tennessee pitched having Shedeur and Deion Sanders on the cover too. Surely, that'd generate buzz and hook in more casual fans than anyone on Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, or Georgia's rosters. It'd also anger a legion of college football fans who are sick of hearing about CU nonstop considering their lack of on-field success.

Regardless of how anyone feels about the program, Hunter being on the cover is a sign of the changing times in Boulder, Colorado. Who would've ever thought a Buff would be front and center-right on the cover of an EA Sports video game that's been over a decade in the making?
