Deion Sanders' daughter, Shelomi Sanders, sounds bitter about her time in Boulder -- explaining that there weren't "good vibes" and that she didn't feel JR Payne and the Buffs' women's basketball coaching staff dedicated enough attention to her development.

“I don’t want to say anything too bad,” Shelomi said on a livestream (h/t On SI). “It just wasn’t good energy. It wasn’t good vibes. There wasn’t enough being poured into me as a player and young lady. If I didn’t leave when I did, I promise you I would’ve quit.”

Deion had criticized Shelomi's decision to transfer without having a landing spot secured back in April.

"Yeah which was stupid," Sanders said after a DNVR Buffs host started bringing up her transfer. "You get a team. You gotta get a team before you enter the portal. That's what I'd advise a child. I know, 'oh well it's illegal.' Come on man. Everybody knows somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody. You kind of want them to do something, and she has been truly advised."

JR Payne and Deion Sanders have good relationship

Deion has a strong relationship with Payne, hence his defense of the Buffs women's basketball head coach. Back in March, Payne shared "Prime-paganda" in a strong message of support for Coach Prime.

“The great thing about (Coach) Prime, besides all of the greatness that Prime brings with him, is that now the entire world is seeing what an incredible place the University of Colorado is," Payne said (h/t The Denver Post). “So, yeah, we love what we have here. We love what we’re going to continue to be able to build with our leadership. And we’ll certainly miss Chancellor Phil (DiStefano), but love the support that we have from (CU) President (Todd) Saliman. And, yeah, I just think the sky’s the limit.”

For those worrying about Shelomi's transfer affecting Sanders' standing at CU, don't. Coach Prime is well-established in Boulder regardless.
