Deion Sanders pitches obvious replacement for Tua Tagovailoa on Dolphins
Deion Sanders not-so-subtly hinted that his son, Shedeur Sanders, would be a suitable QB1 replacement for Miami Dolphins star Tua Tagovailoa; who may have played his last snap professionally given his numerous concussions in the last several years.
As Dolphins Wire's Adam Stites relays from a conversation with Chad Johnson and Shannon Sharpe, Coach Prime pushed his son on the Dolphins. Add Miami to the approved list of NFL teams he'd approve for Shedeur and Travis Hunter.
“What do you do business-wise if you’re the Dolphins?” Sanders asked Sharpe and Johnson on a podcast earlier this week. “Do you take a quarterback, which is what I’m saying, or do you say, ‘Tua, let’s check this out, let’s see what we’re going to do.’ Is his health more important than that?”
“Shedeur to the Dolphins,” Deion Sanders said “So you just got the revelation, huh?”
Shedeur Sanders would be great fit with Mike McDaniel
Shedeur has only had his father coaching him for as long as he's been a college football star. He won't in the NFL. Remember: as the man says himself, Deion is a father, not a baby daddy. He's not following his kids to the pros.
That kind of personality is rare, if unfounded, in the NFL head coaching ranks. Of any in the NFL, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel's is at least in the same universe from a charisma perspective.
Miami has the means to be "Prime Time." Shedeur would be a great fit in south Florida.
