Shedeur Sanders wasn't on the released Deluxe Edition cover of the EA Sports College Football 25 cover. Travis Hunter was, so Colorado didn't go unrepresented, but Shedeur wasn't one of the quarterbacks included. Texas's Quinn Ewers, Georgia's Carson Beck, and Alabama's Jalen Milroe were.

This didn't cause much of an uproar, but X "reporter" Dov Kleiman -- parenthesis around reporter because Kleiman is more of a rapid re-poster than a news-breaker, and questions about his existence have been covered by The New York Post (he's real) -- posted that there was.

"Many fans are upset that Shedeur Sanders is nowhere to be seen on the Deluxe cover of EA Sports College Football 25," Kleiman tweeted.

This didn't go over well at all.

Dov Kleiman shredded for claiming Shedeur Sanders not being on Deluxe Edition cover of EA Sports College Football 25

Very swiftly, posters from all over X came to rebuke the claim Kleiman made, with some mixing in some dark humor and others being blunt about their disagreement with the phantom claim.

We'll keep it clean and respectful. It's social media, so things predictably got out of hand.

Mike Farrell (of the Mike Farrell Sports brand) asked Kleiman to name a single fan. To no one's surprise, he didn't get an answer.

One Oklahoma fan had a wise-crack that played on Colorado's offensive line failures in 2023.

One Buffs fan asked Kleiman to stop with the narrative since most fans of CU are happy about Hunter and didn't make a stink about Shedeur.

One Kansas Jayhawks fan translated Kleiman's post to mean one X poster who's built an identity on veiled yet fanatical Colorado fandom.

One Alabama fan accused Kleiman of engagement farming with said tweet. If the shoe fits...

Sanders could still be on the regular edition cover, or a specific version of the cover -- since for all we know, there may be multiple released with several different players across the country gracing them.
