Lil Wayne predicted to return for a Colorado football game in 2024
BuffsBeat's Jeff Hauser believes "nobody would be shocked" if Lil Wayne made a return to Boulder for another Colorado football game; this after making his Folsom Field debut during Coach Prime's first season at CU in 2023.
"Wayne is no stranger to Boulder and visited Sanders and Buffs a few times last year," Hauser prefaced before saying, "He even ran behind Ralphie prior to the Rocky Mountain Showdown with an impromptu performance in the end zone. Nobody would be shocked if he makes a return during the course of Colorado's first year back in the Big 12."
The "Prime Time" Weezy connection is strong after Deion Sanders' recent grand gesture during Super Bowl LVIII Weekend.
Colorado football HC Deion Sanders fully expects to see Lil Wayne at Super Bowl LIX
Coach Prime not only gifted Lil Wayne a pair of Nike Air DT Max '96 Retro sneakers during Super Bowl LVIII Weekend, but during the game itself, he endorsed a Super Bowl LIX appearance for Lil Wayne.
"NFL, I fully expect (Lil Wayne) to be apart of the 2025 (Super Bowl) in New Orleans," Deion Sanders tweeted during the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show featuring Usher. "Thank you in advance. Much Love, Coach Prime."
Perhaps it's not shocking to see Sanders show such a public display of support for Weezy considering his claim that he views Lil Wayne as a son.
"I love Wayne to life like a friend and a son,” Sanders told Billboard. “I understand his gift and his heart. I see one of the best human beings I’ve ever known well beyond the stage and the handclaps of life.”
Evidently, Sanders believes enough in Wayne's gifts to provide his public support of the rapper getting a spot during the greatest annual advertisement event in the world.
