Shilo Sanders jokes he can return from injury for Colorado football in CSU troll

Shilo Sanders had the best reply to Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi's "Instagram followers" comment yet.

Shilo Sanders' forearm might be broken, but his humor sure isn't.

Amidst all the drama engulfing the Sanders post-CSU clash, and the constant criticism pouring in for Colorado, Shilo's bringing in some levity. Although injured, Shilo is setting the record straight, one at a time, all while giving his fans a much-awaited (unserious) update on his injury.

"Alright y’all since we play for clicks, If this video gets to 200k I’m going to play this weekend," Shilo said hollering in an answer to Deion Sanders Jr.'s question of whether or not he'll be playing this week.

Among all the responses coming in from the Buffs team for Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi's "We'll see where the Instagram followers get them," pre-game bravado, Shilo's one is the best (or the one that roasted Fowler-Nicolosi's comment the best).

The best part about Shilo's comment is that the clapback put quite a few people to shame, especially the ones who began this whole "CU plays for the clicks controversy," like Dan Lanning; who originally said the words, and former Buffs player Cormani McClain, who popularised it.

Fowler-Nicolosi has also been added to the list. He should've learned the lesson earlier!

When is Shilo Sanders actually expected to come back?

Now, circling back to Sanders' injury, the Buffs center suffered a forearm fracture in the week 2 clash against Nebraska. Although the center underwent a successful ORIF surgery (which takes about an average of 152.1 days to heal, per EssentiallySports), Coach Prime expects him to bounce back in 2-3 weeks, which looking at the numbers, looks quite unrealistic.

However, according to the Well Off Media videos, Shilo has been making regular trips to the training center. Now, looking at Shilo Sander's spirit to get back in the game as soon as possible, and his head coach being pretty confident about it too, fans can expect him to make a comeback soon.

One thing is sure, though. It is expected to be a big one for Deion and Co whenever Shilo makes a comeback.
