When it comes to some of the hottest cleats in the sport, you know you'll find them in Boulder. Shedeur Sanders might flex his mega-NIL deal with Nike all he wants but Colorado football teammate Travis Hunter is not holding back either.

The two-way star got his hands on some shiny new grey cleats by Nike for his season-opener against NDSU. Now that everyone has wrapped their head around Hunter's magnificent three TDs with 132 yards and three touchdowns, paired with seven receptions, his cleats are getting noticed; thanks to the game-day vlog he posted on his social media.

In his vlog, Hunter was spotted donning customized to perfection sparkly grey Nike cleats, continuing the saga of Nike in Colorado. In his pre-game warmup, a teammate even gave a shoutout to Hunter, saying "Check out the heat bro."

Nike saga continues with Colorado football after Shedeur Sanders' deal

First, it was Deion Sanders' restored relationship with the shoe giant that yielded some of the mot trending sneakers in college football: the 'Primes' aka the Nike Air Diamond Turfs Max 96.

While the fans were just wrapping their head around all the colorways Coach Prime was launching, his son Shedeur dropped an even bigger announcement shocking everyone: a NIL deal with Nike, the first one in the college football realm, shooting his NIL valuation to a whopping $4.7 million.

"Now it's a family business," wrote Sanders on his Instagram.

While it might be the same line as his father, Shedeur is planning on bringing his own creativity to the table and not merely follow his father's footsteps with this deal.

"I want to build on it. Have like a different version. It's more about generational. It's more about what could be passed down year after year after year after year, rather than everybody starting to think they're whole new wave because there's no real substance behind it," Sanders said in his most recent episode of '2Legendary' podcast.

"Everything that's great has to have a story behind it. Every great player has a story about. So, I feel like when it comes to design or anything like that, it has to have a great design behind it."

Looking at the already chic kicks coming from his father, the anticipation surrounding what Shedeur can make will only be on the rise.
