Travis Hunter just signed what he calls the 'smartest NIL deal'. And thanks to it, he breezed right past the $3.1 million NIL-valued Arch Manning in On3's table.

Some bombastic plays and the hearts of the whole of CFB were not the only things Hunter scored in these 3 weeks. He also scored a one-of-its-kind NIL deal with personal finance company NerdWallet. The 'Smartest NIL deal ever', as the campaign is called, calls for their athletes to make a 'smart commitment of saving 20% of their earnings in their savings account.

This deal not only made Travis Hunter the first football player to sign a NIL deal with NerdWallet (with former NCAA basketball players JuJu Watkins and Rob Dillingham being their other partners), but it also surged his NIL valuation to a whopping $3.1 million, right past Arch Manning, securing his spot at No.3.

Livvy Dunne sits at the 2nd position while the Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders is enthroned in the 1st place with his $5.1 million NIL valuation.

Arch Manning's NIL profile

Coming from the Manning bloodline, the Texas QB already had that natural charm to attract some good NIL deals.

As a result, even before he stepped his feet on the gridiron in 2023, Manning had signed a massive deal with Panini, the hub for sports trading cards, etching him as a top 5 NIL-valued athlete. Earlier this year, Manning also signed another NIL deal with EA Sports 25 to get featured in their EA Sports CFB 25 game.

All of this has totaled his NIL valuation to $3.1 million, which is just a bit shy of Hunter's NIL valuation. And this just looks like the beginning of the two-way star.
