Deion Sanders has beef with The Denver Post's Sean Keeler, CBS Sports, and now USA Today -- which answered Coach Prime's challenge to dig up dirt on Shilo Sanders' bankruptcy case and lawsuit and cited five agencies in a report from Brent Schrotenboer.

Schrotenboer's sources -- the Dallas police department, the school itself, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Darjean's insurance company (Utica National Insurance Company), and civil court -- all painted the picture of a very guilty Shilo; who was caught on video assailing Darjean in Focus Academies' hallways.

The case still hangs in the ether, but things don't look good for Shilo right now. And if there's any semblance of truth to the player sources who spread the wild locker room rumors in Athlon Sports' Steve Corder's report, things don't look good for Coach Prime or the rest of the Colorado football program either.

Shilo Sanders' NFL future hangs in the balance

Shilo's legal issues will hover over the CU safety for as long as it is unresolved. Right now, because he's acting brazenly in the face of his bankruptcy case, wearing expensive jewelry and designer clothes, it seems far from resolved. Shilo has downplayed it, but he's also downplaying a more serious shoulder issue by preparing to play from Week 1 and on, missing no time.

That's all Shilo can do to overcome the negative narratives NFL front offices may be harping on right now. Star for the Buffs defense and overcome this shoulder issue, and Coach Prime's middle son is at least moving in the right direction as it pertains to his bankruptcy case.

But the risks are abundant. Shilo is one of college football's most notable characters this year, along with his younger brother Shedeur and Travis Hunter. The latter two for their on-field exploits, and Shilo from an on-field, health, and legal standpoint.
