Warren Sapp sends stunned message on Colorado football transfer's game
The 2023 season is one to forget for Deion Sanders and the rest of his Colorado football program, as they notched just four wins when everything was said and done.
However, the addition of Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Sapp, who played in the NFL for 13 seasons, is poised to help out in any way he can as a GA.
Sapp has nothing but high praise for incoming Arizona State transfer B.J. Green, who has impressed immensely.
“I didn’t know who he was,” Sapp said during a video posted by Well Off Media this week (h/t BuffZone). “I had never seen any tape on him and I was just wanting to see him go. Oh my God. The young man will go inside, outside, he loves close contact. He loves the phone booth, which I love, because you all know who else working the phone booth don’t you? Superman!”
The reactions from Sapp exude enthusiasm and should excite many Colorado fans who are wondering what the defensive side of the ball will look like this coming fall.
Interestingly enough, Prime Time, Sapp, and Green all have a unique tie amongst one another that stems back to when Green was a young kid in Atlanta.
Who are some of the other notable incoming transfers for Colorado football?
Some of the notable guys who are joining the program for the 2024 season are Vanderbilt receiver Will Sheppard, TCU receiver Cordale Russell, Ohio defensive lineman Rayyan Buell, and Pittsburgh defensive lineman Dayon Hayes.
All of these guys plus more are joining the squad headlined by an NFL great, someone who knows the ins and outs of football — both on and off the field.
It'll be exciting to see how both Coach Sanders and Sapp handle the group and any roadblocks that come their way throughout the season.
