Here is what wiped out Colorado football's 'Whiteout' dream against Baylor
Saturday's clash against Baylor was an absolute movie for the CU fans, one for which Colorado football wasn't dressed according to what they would have liked. Shedeur Sanders (and his whole team frankly) would rather have had his Hail Mary TD pictures taken in his white uniform instead of the classic black and gold they had to wear.
Colorado football pulled a stunt just days before their clash against Baylor by tweeting "Wear White." Now, both the NCAA and SEC rules give the home team the freedom to decide their jersey color, a perfect opportunity for Colorado to proudly don their white threads for their homecoming and first conference showdown game. Until the caveat in the NCAA rules robbed them of the opportunity.
Apparently, the Buffs didn’t have the express written consent of the Bears which they needed per the NCAA rule stating, “The visiting team shall wear white jerseys; however, the home team may wear white jerseys if the teams have agreed in writing before the season.”
Despite their 'whiteout' dream getting wiped out, Deion Sanders and Co. decided to make the day count with another blockbuster, edge-of-the-seat victory.

Although Colorado's homecoming 'whiteout' plans flopped, Deion Sanders and Co. didn't let it dial down their ferocious drive to bring the win home. Their single-minded, unwavering focus held the team together even when everyone thought they were going to lose -- which ultimately propelled them to victory.
Before the game, Colorado Football made a couple of tweets expressing their open-hearted acceptance of their classic signature black and white uniform. They first showed it by tweeting a classic picture of the golden Buffs helmet nestling on the Folsom Field, with the caption, "Tonight’s gear, classic."
Later, they even flaunted it by tweeting finely detailed pictures of the uniform and the helmet, saying "gameday threads." And no, they didn't miss the chance to use an all-time favorite saying of Coach Prime: "Look good, feel good, play good."
Safe to say, Colorado did look good, felt good, and played good. Now they're 3-1.
