Deion Sanders is ramping up Shedeur Sanders' Heisman campaign in top gear. Colorado athletic director Rick George has now joined forces with him and shouldered its promotion.

This is precisely why he was utterly unhappy when On3's Week 13 Heisman Poll ranked the Buffs QB at No. 8.

"Blows my mind that Shedeur is not top 3 let alone top 5. SMH," George commented, expressing his exasperation.

And this is not the only time that the Buffs AD has stood up online for Shedeur's Heisman candidacy. Following their win to Texas Tech, Sanders tweeted "Travis Hunter, you should win the Heisman," showing his wholehearted support for his teammate.

"So should you," George commented on Sanders' post.

Shedeur, Deion Sanders' 'no-BS' answer to undecided Heisman voters

"I’m not going to give a message to Heisman voters who are undecided. If they can’t see, they can’t see. It is what it is. Travis is who he is,” Coach Prime said. “It’s supposed to go to the best college football player. That’s been a wrap since Week 2, so we aren’t petitioning for anybody," Prime said, indirectly citing Hunter as the "best College Football player."

"We don’t go in a game being like, ‘Oh, we got to get Travis the Heisman,'” Shedeur said. “Some teams do that for their players — I’m just playing. We don’t."

Sanders or Travis, the Heisman is most likely coming to Colorado this season.
