Star Colorado football sophomore shares crucial update on ankle injury

As Colorado football gets ready to hit the road to Arizona, WR Omarion Miller likely won't accompany them.

When a spirited Colorado football team marched into Folsom Field to take on K-State, little did they fathom how costly that game would be for them.

Colorado's loss against Chris Klieman and Co. hurt, sure, but the other losses sustained that day will hurt them even more when they visit Arizona this Saturday, as four players are currently injured.

One of them is Omarion Miller, a key freshman who left the field in a wheelchair in the fourth quarter and was later spotted with his left leg in a cast. With 13:46 left on the clock when he left, the WR's injury limited him to the locker room.

Per a social media update, Miller has undergone surgery.

"Appreciate all the prayers. Surgery went well. Comeback gon be greater than ever," Miller said.

Miller had left the K-State game after scoring a solid 145 yards, a score Deion Sanders would dearly miss when playing against Arizona this week, especially since another star WR of his team got injured that evening.

Travis Hunter, Jimmy Horn Jr. also injured

Other than Miller, the two-way superstar of the Buffs, Travis Hunter also sustained a right shoulder injury. When asked about it in the postgame conference, Deion Sanders confessed to not having any updates about it.

And just two plays before Hunter was injured, Jimmy Horn Jr. also sustained an unspecified injury as he took a hit after a 12-yard catch.

Hunter and Horn are both green-lit for the Arizona game, luckily. Their injuries were not as serious as Miller's, who may miss the rest of the season.
