Coach Prime has obviously given 3-star WR Brayden Allen, a top flip target for Colorado, a lot to think about after visiting Boulder over the weekend.
Fresh off his visit, Allen, who committed to Tulane back in July, chose to back off his pledge with the Green Wave:

Colorado and Oklahoma are the serious contenders for Allen's signature down the stretch. He took a visit to Oklahoma the week before coming to Boulder to visit Colorado this past weekend. With two Power Four programs in pursuit, it was only a matter of time before he reopened his recruitment by decommitting from Tulane.
The Lafayette, Louisiana native is ranked as the No. 578 overall player in the 247 composite and a consensus 3-star prospect.
Deion Sanders is aggressively pursuing Allen. He's leaving no stone unturned and making sure he makes it clear to Allen how much he is wanted and needed in Boulder:
"They made it known to me that they don't only want me, but they need me over there," Allen told Rivals after his visit to Colorado.
Deion Sanders could grab a couple consolation prizes from weekend visits despite loss to BYU
It was a disappointing loss on Saturday night with Colorado falling at home to BYU 24-21. The Buffs are now 2-3 and 0-2 in the Big 12, calling into question whether there are enough wins left on the schedule to even garner bowl eligibility.
At some point, Coach Prime could decide to pull the plug and focus on the future. That could mean Julian Lewis takes over at QB. And the future may have gotten even brighter in spite of the loss, thanks to a couple of visits from coveted prospects who enjoyed their time in Boulder anyway.
It was reported on Monday that Colorado made a big move in the recruitment of 5-star 2027 QB Kavian Bryant, who had recently been predicted to land in Texas Tech's class. That may still be the case, but Coach Prime took a big swing with the elite QB, and it may just pay off with time. There's a long way to go until the finish line with the 2027 class.
There's not as much time left in the 2026 cycle. We're just over two months away from the early signing period, and the Buffs - despite gaining some recent momentum - rank 69th overall and 14th in the Big 12 with just 13 total commitments. They continue to work on flip targets and uncommitted prospects.
Allen is a big target and would represent a major recruiting win over Oklahoma if Sanders can pull it off.
