Following their highly-publicized conversation, rumors have yet to cease on the potential of Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders taking his talents to the Jerry Jones-owned Dallas Cowboys.

Speculation is at an all-time high about the former Cowboy, though Sanders has been adamant that he’ll only coach in the NFL if his sons are on the team with him. Despite this, many believe Sanders isn’t even ready for an NFL gig at all.

Hall of Famer– and Travis Hunter’s inspiration– Champ Bailey disagrees.

"Any franchise would be lucky to have him," Bailey told USA TODAY Sports. "I hope he gets a legitimate shot. … Dallas would've been the last place I thought he'd go, but I'm happy to hear that there's some mutual interest there.

"He's ready for it."

This is incredibly high praise from a man like Bailey, but it’s important to note that even he is hesitant to believe that Sanders would head to Dallas.

So, will Deion Sanders leave Buffalo for Dallas?

Probably not. Recently, Sanders expressed his admiration and love for Colorado and his Buffaloes and stated he had no intention of leaving. Additionally, it seems as if many Cowboys fans concur with the belief that Sanders is simply not ready for an NFL coaching job -- mainly due to a lack of experience coaching at an NFL level.

Also, there’s the question of production. Yes, it’s impressive that he’s been able to turn a struggling franchise into a household name, but at the end of the day, Sanders’ Buffaloes are still yet to even win a bowl game.

Despite all of this, though, Sanders remains a +100 favorite to land the Cowboys job.
