Coach Prime revealed on Tuesday that he would be undergoing surgery on his leg to remove blood clots. He said, "Prayerfully, I'll be right back tomorrow because I don't miss practice."
It appears those prayers were answered.
Deion Sanders was back at Colorado practice on Wednesday, just as he hoped.

A member of Coach Prime's medical team shared a positive update earlier on Wednesday as well, letting fans know that Sanders would be at practice:

Coach and I will see yall at practice
Sanders was seen patrolling the sidelines last weekend against TCU routinely with only one shoe on. He was also seen sitting down, leading to plenty of concern from fans and media. After the game, Sanders revealed that he believed he had more blood clots in his leg, something he has grown all too familiar with over the last half-decade.
The blood clots were confirmed in a doctor's appointment on Monday, and the surgery was quickly scheduled for Tuesday. The procedure was an aspiration thrombectomy today, a surgery to remove a blood clot(s) from his popliteal and tibial arteries, according to Colorado beat reporter Scott Procter.
Deion Sanders is back at practice and preparing Colorado for a must-win game
At 2-4 and 0-3 in the Big 12, Colorado faces a must-win on Saturday against Iowa State. The 22nd-ranked Cyclones come to Boulder after a loss to Cincinnati, and Coach Prime will hope they're still ailing a little from that upset defeat.
Any slim hopes Colorado has of getting to six wins and bowl eligibility will depend on a win this weekend. The Buffaloes have lost two in a row and three of the last four, but they continue to be close to winning games. They've blown two touchdown leads two weeks in a row against BYU and TCU. Getting off to fast starts has been common, but Colorado has routinely fallen apart in the second half of games against good teams.
They'll hope to change that narrative this week against a good Iowa State team that is in need of a bounce-back win to stay in the Big 12 title picture.
Colorado has its first of two bye weeks next week. A loss on Saturday would put them at 2-5 and mean the Buffs would need to win four of their final five games to reach a bowl game. A win means a more reasonable 3-2 record would send Colorado bowling.
That's the only real goal left now for Colorado this season.
