True freshman wide receiver Adrian Wilson has committed to North Carolina per On3’s Hayes Fawcett
Wilson never played a down for Colorado, after being a member of the 2025 recruiting class featuring Wilson, Julian Lewis, Carde Smith, London Merritt and Quentin Gibson.
When Wison signed with Colorado and Coach "Prime" Deion Sanders this is what he had to say biut his commitment to Colorado “What excites me the most is the opportunity to go somewhere in the air-raid offense and start,”Wilson told On3.
Wilson, a four-star recruit from Pflugerville, Texas was ranked No. 401 overall in the nation, the No. 45 wide receiver and 80th overall in the state of Texas per 247Sports Composite
Wilson, at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds also had offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Auburn, Colorado State, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, TCU, South Carolina, SMU, Purdue, Penn State, Oregon, Liberty, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Texas State, Tulane, Utah and UTEP.
The Texas native caught 60 passes for 1,003 yards and 14 touchdowns in his senior season. Wilson has a ton of potential, he could become the top receiver for new head coach Bill Belichick and North Carolina Tar Heels football.

Wilson will have four years of collegiate eligibility left.
Last year Colorado had their best season since 2016 going 9-4 overall, 7-2 in Big 12 even appearing in the Alamo Bowl but losing 36-14 to the BYU Cougars.
Colorado's spring game takes place on Saturday, April 19, at 2:30 MT. The Black & Gold Spring Game at Folsom Field will be nationally televised on ESPN2
