Bill Goldberg fully endorses the work Deion Sanders and his Colorado football coaching staff are putting in with his son, PWO Gage Goldberg -- and sounded like he was back between the ropes cutting a promo in front of the WWE Universe speaking on it a few weeks before CU's season opener against North Dakota State.

"Oh my god, the difference in just my son alone is unbelievable. He's bigger, stronger, faster and he is taking directions like he has never taken before," Bill Goldberg said (h/t Sportskeeda). "And that's what he needed more than anything. That and get out of his shell and little bit and you know, get to the front of the line. Don't wait for everybody in the back.

"But, you know, it's all jumping into the front and get as much coaching as humanly possible. Soak it up like a sponge and I see the results. So bravo, way to go boys. As Coach Deion said, not only does he have great coaches he has great fathers. They're thorough, they go from top to bottom. And the reality is somebody can drop at any moment. You have to make sure everyone is ready."

Bron Breakker a figure in Gage Goldberg's development into Division I caliber player with Colorado football

The way Goldberg speaks about Gage makes it easy to envision the son of the four-time pro wrestling world champion following his father's footsteps. Current WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker being involved in Gage's development makes that far easier to believe.

As Goldberg relayed, Breakker, FKA former Kennesaw State RB and son of Rick Steiner, Bronson Rechsteiner, was a figure in Gage's development.

“Love him," Bill Goldberg said of Breakker on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast (h/t Essentially Sports). "He had my tattoo. I think at some point he had to cover it up and change it. They tried to mold him after me a bit at the training facility. We had conversations throughout. We’re pretty close. He helped out a lot with Gage. He went through something very similar. It was a walk-on and then went as a free agent to Baltimore.”

Breakker has blazed an impressive trail through WWE NXT and is in the midst of a star-making run on WWE Monday Night Raw. Gage has the blueprint of what the son of a former wrestling superstar needs to do to succeed in that industry.

The best part? Until he potentially pursues that path, Gage has a head coach in Sanders who pushed his father to reach his potential.
