Deion Sanders once again told the media on August 24 that he isn't leaving the Colorado football program to coach his sons Shedeur and Shilo in the NFL; claiming he's just getting started in college football.

“I’m just getting started in this college football thing," Sanders said (h/t DNVR's Jake Schwanitz). "I’m one hundred percent sure I’m not going to be their coach next year.”

Sanders said leaving to coach his sons in the NFL is the dumbest thing he ever saw on his life back in July.

“Another misconception, I’m gonna leave when my kids leave,” Sanders said on SiriusXM College (h/t On3). “That’s the dumbest thing I ever saw in my life, like, I’m gonna follow my sons. Come on. That’s not a dad.

“No. 1, I don’t care. No. 2 is I think they think it’s about me. It’s never been about me. That’s why I’ve been going for about 30-some years now. It can’t be about you when you’re still going 30-some years later, right? It has to be about them. God blesses me because it’s always about somebody else and is always about another person. It’s not about me. He blesses me because we make sure it’s about the kids, it’s about the families, it’s about the mother, it’s about something else. That’s why God blesses me. I think that may be a misconception.”

Deion Sanders has repeatedly said he isn't a 'baby daddy' and won't leave Colorado football to coach his sons in the NFL

Sanders didn't use his typical trope -- that he is a father, not a "baby daddy," and wouldn't follow his sons but instead is the one who leaves -- this time around. That's his go-to line when rebuking this relentless question.

This time around, he was as direct as possible. He even included a nice round figure to break it all down.

This will be revisited if he does leave, but Coach Prime has it too good at Colorado to seriously consider jumping anywhere just yet.
